Wow! What a fun wedding! After traveling to Mexico City earlier this year, Kathryn & Hans were totally inspired by Dia De Los Muertos (day of the dead), and styled their wedding to match! Tons of handmade decorations/props/etc combined to make this a stunning wedding ceremony and reception. During my own trip to Mexico City this April I picked up a bunch of Lucha Libre masks for the fun photobooth at the reception.. here's the music video Kathryn & Hans put together from the hilarious photos: ( http://vimeo.com/25691045 ) Wedding styling/decorations by Lauren Brady @ Saucy & Kitsch ( http://www.facebook.com/SaucyandKitsch ), and Kathryn & friends. Many hours and evenings were spent making all the gorgeous decorations/props. Congrats guys!
Wow! What a fun engagement shoot! Nichole is marrying Anthony, a full-on cowboy from Australia. When Nichole mentioned she owned horses, I couldn't contain my excitement at the thought of doing legit cowboy-cowgirl themed engagement photos. Such a blast.
Salt Lake has a fantastic new wedding/bridal magazine... Salt Lake/Park City Bride & Groom! http://www.saltlakebrideandgroom.com/ At the helm is the talented and fabulous, Tessa Woolf. She hired me to do two of the great features for their debut issue.. here's some shots from the mag and also a couple other faves from the shoots!
The Summer Of Love is alive and well with Brooklyn + Tim! What a fun, beautiful shoot. We couldn't resist indulging our inner hippie and just going all 70's :) Between locations we were jamming to Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac for inspiration! And it was perfect that this was shot on June 21st.. the Summer Solstice. Gorgeous! Can't wait to shoot their wedding this September.
Britta & Mike got married in San Francisco then had their stunning wedding reception here in Salt Lake. Everything about this reception is incredible! Named "The Friend Summit", it didn't disappoint. Funky decorations, hand made posters, custom beer, fantastic people from all over.. the evening was truly amazing. Huge props to Lauren Brady of Saucy&Kitsch ( http://www.saucyandkitsch.com ) for all the decorations and styling!
