Spent 5 days down in the Southern Utah desert recently (Moab area & Needles district of Canyonlands). A few cool nighttime shots from the several nights of full (& nearly full) moons
Wow! What a trip. A close friend (whom I met shooting a wedding in Ohio two years ago!) invited me to spend Christmas with his family & friends down in Tucson, AZ. Instead of flying, I rented a car and piled in my road bike and mt. bike and hit the road for an awesome adventure through the southwest. I stopped at Zion and Grand Canyon National Parks among other places. The week in AZ was incredible.. such amazing people! I feel like I'm part of their family now. What a blessing! After leaving AZ I headed north again and was able to (very randomly) meet up with some other close friends and spend two nights with them in Moab, UT. (A random Facebook post led to all of us connecting.. so cool!). The night skies this trip were amazing. Especially the last two nights in Moab. Almost full moons, plus incredible stars before moonrise. It was really fun to play with some nighttime photography. It was an excellent 10 days!
I'm down in LA on a commercial job and had a little free time so I headed to my favorite spot down here, Crescent Beach Cove. Last pic is from Newport Beach ;) Couldn't resist!
I was invited to a lovely dinner party hosted by Chef Elizabeth Gundersenand her husband Philip. It was an end of summer harvest dinner with close friends.. sharing a farm fresh buffet while first of fall sun was setting in the garden.... Seriously amazing! Liz is an absolutely incredible chef (and designer! the table looked amazing.) Great little evening. Thanks for having me over!
