My friend and fellow (amazing!) photographer Jenny Moloney ( www.jennymoloney.com ) invited me to shoot this awesome wedding with her in Portland, OR this last August. Sara and Alex are some of the coolest cats ever. Their wedding was incredible, and was set in the stunning(!) park across from Hoyt Arboretum (the most gorgeous wedding venue I've ever shot). Style Me Pretty ran this post today.. nice to get some blog love from them! Here's the post and some more of my favorite images that I took. Enjoy!

The groom from yesterday's wedding. Perfect tie-in for Veteran's Day too! Thank you to all the men and women ( *and* their families ) who serve our country. Many are humble and say "just doing our job". Well, thanks for putting your lives on the line. I for one appreciate it

The election recently (with it's economic & class issues) has me reflecting on one of my other favorite things to shoot (besides weddings).. commercial projects. Specifically manufacturing, design, construction. To me, these blue collar workers are artisans and heroes.. not just faceless people that show up and punch a clock. These types jobs are one of the things that make this country great (IMO). I love trying to capture the heart and soul of a business and it's employees.. what they make, and the story and lineage behind a company. Here's some images from recent projects that I like. Thought it'd be cool to share

Ashley+Dan's wedding day was a little rainy/cloudy so I offered to get back together for a sunny fall afternoon groomal shoot! They were married at the stunning Utah Museum of Natural History, so we headed back there for a spectacular shoot. Love these photos! Enjoy.

I've been so busy this season that I haven't really posted much on the blog here! That will change shortly. In the meantime, here's some scenery from areas I've been traveling to for weddings ( Oregon, Napa, San Francisco and here in Utah) and some time in Moab for mt. biking. Some iPhone photos are mixed in. Enjoy!
